decaying complex of showers and thunderstorms moved over the
Carmichael area in Sacramento County. The National Weather Service
completed a damage survey in coordination with the Sacramento
County Office of Emergency Services. It was determined that the
decaying shower caused a downburst of strong straight-line winds.
Sporadic wind damage to trees and powerlines was noted along with
several mature trees that were uprooted and fell into homes.
