Beachgoers should take note of all beach flags and follow the orders of beach safety officials. Double Red Flags mean that the water is closed to the public, due to numerous and life-threatening rip currents, but the beach remains open. Do not enter the water under Double Red Flags. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. && $$
