Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 500 PM EDT/400 PM CDT/. * At 257 PM EDT/157 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 13 nm north of Empire Mica Wreck to 58 nm southwest of C Tower, moving east at 15 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage vessels...and create suddenly higher waves.
