.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...
Cold front moves through today with offshore northeasterly flow
expected to prevail. Isolated showers are possible in the afternoon at
area beaches. With offshore flow, rip current risks are forecast to be
low to moderate with the lowest risks across Panhandle and Gulf county
beaches and the moderate risks across southern Gulf and Franklin
county beaches. Rip current risks should return Friday and into the
weekend as easterly flow returns.
