.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...
Moderate risk of rip currents is expected today ahead of a tropical
disturbance moving off the Florida west coast into the northeastern
Gulf. The rip current risk for Wednesday may begin as moderate but
then increase to high in the afternoon as the disturbance moves
further west. Winds shift to onshore late week with increasing winds
and surf driving the risk up to solid high risk late week. We`ll also
monitor the potential for any high surf concerns Thursday or Friday
depending on if the disturbance in the Gulf develops or not.
