.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Walton county beach flags were upgraded to red today and thus a high
risk of rip currents is now expected into Wednesday morning. A
moderate risk of rip currents continue at the remainder of the local
beaches but an increase to high risk is expected beginning tonight.
A strong cold front will push through tonight into Tuesday with
increasing winds and surf, resulting in a high risk of rip currents
for all beaches starting later tonight into Wednesday morning.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:

State Park Gulf Beaches.......Yellow
West Facing Gulf Beaches......Not Available
South Facing Gulf Beaches.....Not Available
