A moderate risk of rip currents is expected today with generally light winds along the coast and surf heights around one foot. Similar conditions are expected for Sunday as well. East to northeast winds look to increase beginning Labor Day into midweek that may result in an increase in the rip current risk to a high risk at portions of area beaches.
