.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...
Although St Joseph State Park is flying single red flags this
morning, the high risk looks to hold off until tomorrow. That said,
please use caution if entering Gulf County beach waters.
A moderate risk of rip currents will exist at area beaches today with
a southwest wind and surf heights of 1-2 feet with highs in the 70s.
Conditions deteoriate Sunday into next week as a strong cold front
moves through. Strong northwest winds are anticipated in its wake,
plummeting temperatures to near freezing at the coast, and a high risk
of rip currents into midweek.
Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:
