A fairly typical summer pattern is expected with surf heights of 1 to 2 feet and an afternoon onshore sea breeze. A moderate risk of rip currents is expected today and Tuesday afternoon. Increasing winds and seas are forecast to arrive as early as Tuesday night and will likely lead to a high risk of rip currents at most area beaches by mid-week. We`ll also monitor the potential for any high surf concerns Wednesday, Thursday or Friday depending on if the disturbance in the Gulf develops or not.
