.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

A broad area of low pressure will move west over the Florida
panhandle today and tonight. Winds will become southerly on the
backside of this feature with increasing winds and seas. Although
beaches initially are forecast with a moderate risk, Franklin county
beaches may be upgraded to high risk this afternoon if surf heights
increase quicker. All beaches Thursday and Friday will be at a high
risk of rip currents.
