Surf Zone Forecast
National Weather Service Tallahassee FL
226 AM EDT Mon Jul 14 2025

.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

A fairly typical summer pattern is expected with surf heights of 1
to 2 feet and an afternoon onshore sea breeze. A moderate risk of
rip currents is expected today and Tuesday afternoon. Increasing
winds and seas are forecast to arrive as early as Tuesday night and
will likely lead to a high risk of rip currents at most area beaches
by mid-week. We`ll also monitor the potential for any high surf
concerns Wednesday, Thursday or Friday depending on if the
disturbance in the Gulf develops or not.
