.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...
A high risk of rip currents is up for Walton County beaches today
while a moderate risk of rip currents is expected at the remainder of
the local beaches. On Sunday, a Gulf low may lead to a high risk of
rip currents along the Franklin and South- facing Gulf County beaches,
but the probability is low, so a moderate risk is currently forecast.
On Monday, brisk northwest winds are expected to lead to a more
favorable wave setup for a high risk of rip currents along the West-
facing Gulf County beaches. Otherwise, a moderate risk of rip currents
is outlooked for the Gulf beaches through Wednesday.
Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
