High risk of rip currents likely this afternoon across Franklin and south-facing Gulf county beaches. Through the week, this high risk will spread to our other beaches across the Big Bend and Panhandle as Tropical Storm Helene begins to move into the Gulf and high surf begins to affect our beaches.
