Important notice to mariners...marine forecasts are issued at least four times a day. Boaters on extended trips should routinely monitor subsequent forecast issuances and updates for the latest marine weather information. The wave heights are forecast as significant wave height which is the average of the highest one-third of the waves. The highest waves may rarely be twice the significant wave height. The winds and seas near thunderstorms may be higher than forecast. GMZ800-241000- Synopsis for the coastal waters from Bonita Beach to Suwannee River- 820 PM EST Sun Nov 23 2025 .SYNOPSIS... Winds and seas are expected to remain light as a weak cold front continues to sink south across the E Gulf waters tonight with winds becoming north to northwest. Areas of sea fog will continue over the nearshore waters off the Nature Coast and some of this will spread south into the Tampa Bay area tonight. High pressure will build back over the waters on Monday with winds shifting to easterly through Tuesday. A stronger but dry cold front will move across the waters during midweek.
