...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST THIS EVENING...

.DISCUSSION...

A very dry airmass is in place with minimum RH values in
the low 20s into the evening hours. This combined
with gusty NE winds will support Red Flag conditions through
6 PM this evening before humidity values recover overnight.
While the airmass on Wednesday will still remain dry, minimum
RH values are not expected to be nearly as low as today so the
fire danger will be less tomorrow with minimum RH values reaching
the low 40s Wednesday afternoon. In addition, winds will remain
out of the NE on Wednesday and won`t be nearly as breezy as today
with wind speeds around 5-10 mph throughout the day. No
precipitation is expected through the period as high pressure
remains in control.
