.DISCUSSION...
Strong, zonal flow aloft will help to maintain above normal
temperatures and gusty surface winds through the weekend, with
overall dry conditions expected through the daylight hours on
Sunday. By Sunday evening an approaching disturbance over the
Pacific Northwest will begin to usher in precipitation to the
Continental Divide, with this disturbance and attendant cold front
sliding over the Northern Rockies on Monday. This cold front will
bring windy conditions and better chances for widespread
precipitation on Monday to all Fire Weather Zones. Cooler
temperatures and frequent chances for precipitation are then
expected in wake of the cold front for the remainder of the
upcoming work week. - Moldan
