Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
347 AM MDT Sat Jun 14 2025

.DISCUSSION...

An unstable southwesterly flow aloft will maintain periods of
widely scattered showers and thunderstorms through early next
week. While most of today`s activity will be of lower intensity, a
few of the strongest storms will be capable of producing
localized strong gusty winds, hail, and brief downpours. Judith
Basin and Fergus counties will be most susceptible to the stronger
thunderstorms. On Sunday, there will be at least some western
expansion and uptick in shower and thunderstorm activity given the
passage of a stronger shortwave. Temperatures will continue to
run near average for this time of year.
