Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
140 AM MST Thu Nov 27 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Widespread accumulating snow is expected across all Fire Weather
Zones through the end of the work week as an upper level
disturbance and strong cold front moves across the Northern
Rockies. Gusty north winds will occur in wake of the cold fronts
passage tonight and through the day on Friday, especially along
and west of the I-15 corridor and in terrain gaps. Temperatures
will fall well below normal through the weekend as the coldest
temperatures of the year, so far, arrive. - Moldan
