.DISCUSSION...

Periods of scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue for
the next couple of days. The strongest storms move in this
afternoon and evening and will be capable of localized strong,
gusty winds, large hail, and brief heavy downpours in addition to
lightning. Areas along and southeast of a Helena to Havre line
will be most susceptible to severe weather conditions. Drier and
slightly warmer conditions are expected for the mid- week period
before turning cooler and unsettled heading into next weekend.
