.DISCUSSION...
A Pacific weather system will spread scattered showers and
thunderstorms northeast over the area this afternoon and evening.
The primary threat today will be erratic wind gusts. The passage
of a cold front with this system will bring a greater chance for
strong thunderstorms with wetting rain showers on Thursday, with
strong wind gusts and hail being the main threats. Warmer than
normal temperatures today will lower afternoon humidity into the
25 to 35 percent range at lower elevations, but humidity will
recover well overnight and on Thursday with cooling temperatures.
Friday will be even cooler with showers and gusty northwest winds,
but fewer thunderstorms.
