Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
252 PM MDT Wed Sep 3 2025

.DISCUSSION...

After a warm and smoky day today, a cold front will push through
the area tomorrow morning, bringing cooler temperatures, less
smoke, and breezy winds. While the wind will result in some
elevated fire weather conditions tomorrow afternoon, the cooler
temperatures and slightly higher RH values should keep us from
seeing critical/Red Flag conditions tomorrow. Cooler temperatures
linger through Friday, with some showers beginning to push into
the higher terrain by early next week. Ludwig
