Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
128 AM MST Fri Nov 21 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Zonal flow over the Northern Rockies through the end of the work
week and weekend will help to maintain above normal temperatures
across all Fire Weather zones, with periods of gusty winds. Gusty
southwest to west winds will occur across the plains of Central
and Southwest Montana today, with the strongest winds occurring
along and west of the US Hwy 89 corridor north of Dupuyer.
Predominately dry conditions through Saturday will give way to
increasing chances for rain/snow along the Continental Divide on
Sunday ahead of a disturbance, which will bring cooler and wetter
conditions into the upcoming work week. - Moldan
