.DISCUSSION...
A high pressure ridge will help warm and dry the forecast area
through Sunday, as afternoon humidity falls into the 15 to 25
percent range at lower elevations. Winds will be light today, but
southerly winds will become breezy on Sunday. However, slow drying
of fuels will limit fire concerns. A few thunderstorms are possible
along and east of a Havre to Lewistown line each afternoon, with
strong thunderstorms with erratic wind gusts and hail possible on
Sunday. A passing dry cold front on Monday will shift breezy winds
more westerly and cool temperatures a bit, but humidity will remain
quite low. Warming with less wind is expected for mid-week.
