Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
320 AM MST Thu Nov 20 2025

.DISCUSSION...

After some patchy morning fog, drier conditions and light winds
are expected for the remainder of today. Stronger westerly flow
aloft will bring breezy to windy conditions, strongest along the
Rocky Mountain Front where gusts will exceed 60 mph at times. A
strong cold front will bring widespread windy conditions Monday
into Tuesday with accumulating snow along the Rocky Mountain
Front. Colder temperatures and periods of light snow are still
expected heading into Thanksgiving.
