A passing weather will bring widely scattered showers and thunderstorms and a northerly wind shift Thursday afternoon and evening, with the most widespread storm activity expected along and north of the highway 2 corridor. The stronger storms will be capable of localized strong, gusty winds, hail, and brief downpours in addition to lightning. Afternoon temperatures on Thursday will warm closer to average with minimum relative humidity values falling to near critical levels over the southern zones. The frontal passage will bring good humidity recoveries for all areas Thursday night and Friday morning.
