.DISCUSSION...
Northwest flow aloft will become more zonal in nature across the
Northern Rockies from Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday
morning, with zonal flow then persist through the remainder of the
day on Thursday. This will lead to increasing westerly winds
across the incident area, most notably on Thursday; however, both
days have an 80% chance of seeing wind gusts exceed 30 mph. With
respect to Thursday there is a 10% chance that gusts could exceed
45 mph across the incident area.
