.DISCUSSION...

Gusty winds are expected today as the first in a series of
weather systems approaches the area today. Winds will gust to 35
or 40 mph for much of the day today, only weakening a bit late in
the afternoon. Snow will also be around from time to time today,
but daytime accumulations will be less than an inch. Winds
decrease overnight as snow picks up a bit, with gusts to 25 mph
with up to an inch of overnight snow accumulation. A break in the
snow is likely tomorrow morning, but snowfall will return by mid
afternoon and increase in intensity overnight.
