.DISCUSSION...

Expect generally benign weather today as the upper level ridge
continues to bring light and somewhat variable winds, with some
upvalley winds taking over later this evening, which will provide
a more easterly wind direction. Temperatures will peak tomorrow as
southwesterly flow develops ahead of a dry cold front, with
temperatures in the low 80s with winds gusting to 30 to 35 mph.
The cold front will push through the area in the late afternoon or
evening (most likely timing is between 1500 and 2100 Saturday),
which will bring a sudden wind shift to the west/northwest and the
potential for wind gusts to 35 to 40 mph.
