Areas of snow will continue to decrease with snow showers or
flurries continuing into this afternoon, however additional
accumulations are expected to be less than one inch, mainly near the
continental divide.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM MST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Snow, diminishing to snow showers late this afternoon.
  Additional snow accumulations up to two inches. Wind gusts up to
  35 mph.

* WHERE...Big Belt, Bridger and Castle Mountains and Little Belt and
  Highwood Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM MST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Tire chains may be required for some vehicles if
  traveling through mountain passes. Blowing snow could
  significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring down tree
  branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can

* WHERE...Northwest Beaverhead County.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM MST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be
  required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure
  they are prepared for dangerous conditions. Blowing snow could
  significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring down tree
  branches.
