...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy, wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 12
  inches at and above 6000 feet, with up to 4 inches across the
  valley floors of Glacier National Park. Winds gusting as high as
  40 mph

* WHERE...East Glacier Park Region Zone.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel conditions, especially on
  Going-to-the-Sun and Looking Glass Roads and over the Hudson Bay
  Divide on US Hwy 89 due to slushy snow accumulations on roadways.
  Dangerous backcountry trail conditions, especially in areas of
  exposure. The heavy, wet snow and gusty winds combined with
  foliage may lead to downed trees and power outages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Those looking to recreate in the backcountry
  of the Glacier National Park should be prepared for adverse trail
  condtions and consider altering their plans.
