...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Washington County in north central Kansas...
  Marshall County in northeastern Kansas...
  Northern Nemaha County in northeastern Kansas...

* WHEN...Until 730 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 424 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This  will cause urban and small stream flooding.
    Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Marysville, Sabetha, Seneca, Washington, Blue Rapids, Frankfort,
    Hanover, Waterville, Clifton, Centralia, Linn, Axtell, Greenleaf,
    Beattie, Bern, Barnes, Morrowville, Vermillion, Palmer and
    Oneida.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
