.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected over the next
week. Today, gusty southwest winds ahead of a cold front should
lead to efficient mixing. This will not mix out moisture too much
as RH values are only expected to drop into the 35-45% range by
peak heating. Moisture will again rebound across all of eastern
Kansas this evening as thunderstorms are expected with the cold
frontal passage.
The remainder of the week will see much cooler temperatures and RH
values above 50%
