.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns are low due to green fuels and high RH.
A weak area of low pressure will move into southwest KS this
afternoon. This should cause winds to be from the east and
southeast at 5 to1 15 mph. Meanwhile a humid airmass is
expected to keep minimum RH values around 60 percent. So there
are no concerns for fire weather today. Mixing heights should
only be around 3 KFT and may limit smoke dispersal a little.
The active weather pattern is forecast to continue bringing
chances for showers and thunderstorms through the weekend.
Hot weather Tuesday and Wednesday should give way to more
moderate temperatures late in the week and this weekend.
