.DISCUSSION...
Hot and breezy conditions will be present today, once scattered AM
showers and weak storms move off to the east. It will be hottest
and driest towards central KS, where RH will drop into the 20 to
30 percent range. Farther east, RH will stay above 40 percent.
Southwest winds increase to 15-20 mph this afternoon with gusts
25-30 mph. Excellent smoke dispersal is expected with the deep
mixing and gusty winds. Hot conditions with breezy south-
southwest winds will persist Monday and Tuesday, though thick high
clouds may keep RH above 30 percent.
