.DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns are low today due to light winds
and relatively green fuels.
A somewhat weak surface pattern is forecast to keep a
south and southeasterly wind across the area in the 5
to 15 mph range. Meanwhile minimum RH values are expected
to be around 40 percent. So concerns for fire weather
are low. Mixing heights are forecast to be between
5 and 6 KFT. This should allow for good to excellent
smoke dispersal conditions.
The warm and dry weather is expected to continue through
the workweek. A pattern change this weekend has a 20
percent chance for precipitation on Saturday and Sunday.
