.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will move southward across the CWA during the
afternoon hours. West-southwes winds of 5 to 10 MPH will shift to
the north at 10 to 15 MPH with higher gusts behind the front.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop along the front
after 3 PM along and south of the I-70 corridor. Some of the
storms may be severe with large hail and isolated damaging wind
gusts. The front should move through the area early this evening
brining an end to the showers and thunderstorms. Minimum RHs will
range from around 48 percent across the southwest counties to
around 62 percent across the northeast counties. Skies will be
mostly clear this morning but clouds will increase ahead and
behind the front through the afternoon hours.
