This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Kansas, east central Kansas, north central Kansas and northeast Kansas. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. Periods of rain will continue today and tonight. Some of this rain may be heavy and lead to flooding, especially in parts of north central and northeast KS that saw the most rain last night into this morning. A few severe storms could also occur this afternoon and evening, capable of producing damaging winds and a few tornadoes. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Rounds of rain are expected to continue through Thursday. Additional rainfall of 1.5 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts around 4 inches possible. This could lead to flooding, particularly towards north central and northeast KS.
