...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN POTTAWATOMIE AND JACKSON
COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM CDT...

At 803 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Emmett, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
         around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Holton, Hoyt, Mayetta, Emmett, Denison, Circleville, Delia, and
Potawatomi Reservation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
