.DISCUSSION...
Cooler and drier weather will continue through this weekend.
Light to moderate rain showers will linger across southeast
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas through Saturday morning. Wetting
rainfall will be most probable in far southeast Oklahoma through
tonight. Winds will remain out of the north or northeast through
Monday, and stay generally light to moderate. The exception being
on Sunday, when another dry cold front moves through the area and
kicks up wind gusts around 20 to 25 mph Sunday afternoon and
evening. Although the overall fire weather concerns look to stay
low through period, especially with recent rains, building high
pressure next week will cause warmer and drier weather, which may
cause locally elevated fire weather concerns for locations that
did not receive much rainfall.
