.DISCUSSION... Unseasonably hot weather will prevail for much of
the upcoming week, with any precipitation chances remaining
mainly over higher terrain areas (and near the Oklahoma-Kansas
border Tuesday evening). Increasing south winds early this week
will fuel a continued fire weather threat, especially across
southeast Oklahoma, an area that missed out on the recent rains.
Higher rain potential arrives this weekend into next week as a
cold front influences the region.
