.DISCUSSION...
The chance for showers and thunderstorms will continue Saturday
night through Sunday across much of eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas. Rainfall amounts through this period will
generally remain light with no relief to ongoing drought
conditions. Temperatures will remain above normal for late
September with any period of gusty winds locally raising
grassland fire spread rates. Rain chances increase Tuesday
through Thursday with a higher chance of meaningful rainfall
across the region.
