.DISCUSSION...
Low level moisture will begin to increase today (Friday) ahead of an
approaching storm system, with afternoon RH values generally above
40 percent. Southerly winds will gust to 15- 25 mph. The chance for
widespread wetting rains will increase Friday night and Saturday as
a frontal boundary crosses the region. Dry air will move in behind
the front and could drop humidity values into the 30 to 35 percent
range on Saturday along and west of U.S. 75. Gusty west to northwest
winds are also expected in the post- frontal airmass. Somewhat
increased fire weather potential is also expected Monday afternoon
behind a dry cold front.
