.DISCUSSION... Near record temperatures are forecast again on
Thursday and Friday. Shower and thunderstorm chances will remain
very low through Friday. Winds will increase on Saturday and
continued hot weather along with lower humiditiy values will
increase fire weather concerns across much of eastern Oklahoma
and western Arkansas. The stronger winds on Saturday will lead to
higher grassland fire spread rates. Be mindful of ongoing burn
bans across the region. A cold front remains timed to pass on
Sunday with increasing rain chances and cooler temperatures for
early next week.
