.DISCUSSION...
Hot weather will continue tomorrow, with minimum relative
humidities falling to near 35 percent in the afternoon. Highs near
101 can be expected, along with south winds around 5 mph and
gusts from 10 to 15 mph. Relative humidities overnight Wednesday
night will recover into the mid 70s to mid 80s percent range. A
low to medium chance of showers and thunderstorms exists during
the day Thursday, with the highest chances during the afternoon.
Potential for locally strong wind gusts exists in the stronger
storms Thursday afternoon. Widespread wetting rains are unlikely,
although locally higher rainfall totals may occur. Above normal
temperatures will continue on Thursday, although afternoon
relative humidities will be higher than on Wednesday, ranging from
the mid 40s to mid 50s percent. Winds will shift during the day
Thursday from the south to southwest in the morning to the west
midday and finally, the north by late afternoon.
