.DISCUSSION...
Hot conditions continue today, with afternoon temperatures around
100 degrees. The hot temperatures will keep afternoon relative
humidities in the 35 to 40 percent range, although southeasterly
winds will remain at speeds under 10 mph. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms are again expected this afternoon, which could
produce a sudden increase in wind speeds and gusts, as well as
erratic wind directions. Any thunderstorms that develop are
expected to diminish with sunset. Similar conditions are forecast
for Tuesday, with slightly lower humidities and lower coverage of
afternoon showers and thunderstorms expected.
