This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

FIRE WEATHER DANGER.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...This Afternoon.

DISCUSSION...
Unseasonably warm temperatures and persistent dry conditions will
lead to a limited fire weather danger this afternoon.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
FRIDAY through SUNDAY...No Hazards.
MONDAY...Heavy Rain Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Shower and thunderstorm chances return Wednesday evening and
overnight ahead of an approaching low pressure system from the
desert southwest. An isolated severe potential develops Wednesday
evening before instability begins to weaken overnight. Widespread
showers and a few embedded thunderstorms continue Thursday and
Thursday night, with a heavy rain threat that may lead to an
increase in flood concerns. This precipitation is forecast to
begin tapering off Friday once the low pressure system moves over
the region and a cold front moves through eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas.
