ONSET...This Afternoon. DISCUSSION... South to southwest winds will gust 20 to 30 mph this afternoon. The combination of the wind, warmer temperatures and low humidity will yield limited to near elevated fire weather danger, especially across southeast Oklahoma. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY...No Hazards. FRIDAY...High Wind Potential. SATURDAY...Thunderstorm...High Wind Potential. SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. MONDAY...No Hazards. EXTENDED DISCUSSION... Strong south winds are expected to close out the week, ahead of a storm system poised to impact the region over the weekend.
