South to southwest winds will gust 20 to 30 mph this afternoon.
The combination of the wind, warmer temperatures and low humidity
will yield limited to near elevated fire weather danger,
especially across southeast Oklahoma.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Strong south winds are expected to close out the week, ahead of a
storm system poised to impact the region over the weekend.
Thunderstorm potential will increase Saturday night into Sunday as
the storm system and associated front move into the area.
