This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Far northeast Oklahoma and far northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...After 9 PM.

DISCUSSION...
A slight chance for thunderstorms will exist this evening and
overnight across far northeast Oklahoma and far northwest
Arkansas. Storms are expected to develop across central Kansas
this evening ahead of slow moving cold front. These storms
will spread east and southward before gradually weakening.
A few storms could spread into far northeast Oklahoma
and far northwest Arkansas overnight and a brief strong
storm is possible. Widespread severe weather is not expected.

Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
THURSDAY...No Hazards.
FRIDAY and SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
SUNDAY through TUESDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
A stronger cold front is expected to arrive Friday, and will focus
storm chances that shift from north and south across the area
through Saturday. While some uncertainty exists in the details,
there is potential for heavier rains across southern Oklahoma
late Saturday into Sunday. Details on the extent and location
of any heavy rains will be refined in later forecasts.
