THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. RISK...Elevated. AREA...Eastern Oklahoma. ONSET...This Afternoon West of Highway 75 and Tonight for Eastern Oklahoma. DISCUSSION... Low rain chances return today with a slight chance of thunder this afternoon and evening west of a Bartlesville to Eufaula to Hugo line. Rain and thunderstorm chances then increase overnight tonight across eastern Oklahoma from a disturbance dropping southeast through the region. Severe weather is not anticipated through tonight. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Spotter Activation Not Expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...No Hazards. EXTENDED DISCUSSION... Shower and thunderstorm chances spread across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas Sunday and remain forecast Monday with a couple of disturbances moving through the region. Rain showers along with a slight chance of storms remain forecast Monday night into Tuesday while a cold front pushes across the region.
