This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

FLASH FLOOD.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma.
ONSET...Ongoing.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers will continue to linger and increase again
overnight, primarily across eastern Oklahoma, as a moist airmass
remains in place across the region. Slow movement of the rain and
the possibility of repeated heavy downpours over the same area
will maintain a limited flash flood threat. A low threat of
thunderstorms will exist given only marginal instability.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...No Hazards.
SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Northwest flow aloft will continue to provide a series of
disturbances across the region. The upper level dynamics combined
with a steady stream of Pacific moisture will lead to additional
rounds of showers and thunderstorms through Tuesday. A locally
heavy rain threat will continue during this time, along with a
low, but nonzero, potential for isolated severe weather. A dry
period remains on track for the middle of the week in advance of a
strong cold front set to move through the area Wednesday night
into Thursday. A low chance of thunderstorms exists along the
front Wednesday night into Thursday, mainly across parts of
eastern Oklahoma.
