This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.
RISK...Elevated.
AREA...Southeast Oklahoma and West Central Arkansas.
ONSET...Late Afternoon.

SIGNIFICANT WINDS.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Northeast Oklahoma.
ONSET...Late Morning.

DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue into
this morning across parts of eastern Oklahoma and northwest
Arkansas before dissipating. Severe weather is not expected this
morning.

A cold front will move south across the area today. Gusty north
winds will develop following the passage of the front, with gusts
to near 30 miles an hour possible across parts of northeast
Oklahoma late this morning through this afternoon.

By late afternoon or early evening, scattered thunderstorms are
expected to develop near or just north of the front across parts
of southeast Oklahoma into west central Arkansas. One or two of
these storms may become marginally severe, with large hail and
damaging winds being the main threats.

Activation of the Regional Spotter Network Likely.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
SATURDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
SUNDAY...No Hazards.
MONDAY and TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorm chances will come to an end Saturday morning, with
cool and dry weather expected for the rest of the weekend. Low
thunderstorm chances may return to parts of eastern Oklahoma late
Monday night and Tuesday, but most places will remain dry.
